|uncanvas = This was a learning experience for sure! We drilled the holes quite small, so it was very tough to get the needle through areas that already had a stitch. I ended up breaking a needle in the process, and I had to use pliers to pull the needle through the holes. I bit off more than I could chew for sure... Artist Studies: Durene JonesKristina Studies DureneJones.jpgPattern I had to substitute one of the oranges and I made a mistake in the leaf placement for a couple branches.. but I decided to leave it as is haha. This was fun! I've never done a pattern yet that had two colours in one square, so had to do a google search on that.
Stitch SpotKristina StitchSpot.jpgFor once it even is tidy too! This is where I binge watch Netflix while stitching up a storm! Nearby is my fiance's computer. While I stitch he is either gaming or watching guitar videos on YouTube!
Topsy TurvyKristina TopsyTurvy.jpgIt took a lot of concentration! I started each stitch \ and second stitch /. There's definitely a couple in there that I accidentally switched, but I noticed them at the end and decided to just leave it rather than re-stitch them. Pattern no longer available, but was by AlitonEmbroidery
Stash SystemDiscovered organization inspiration:Craft Closet Makeover I love the idea of pegboards. I like the system I currently have for my floss, but the problem is there simply isn't space in my house right now for a designated crafting spot. If I wasn't in a rental, I would love to turn the spare room closet into something like this!
