Unique TechniquesDiscovered a Tutorial for:How to Make a 3D Fox
Artist Studies: Durene JonesRoguexStitches Studies DureneJones.jpgStitched over 1, 22? ct aida. Pattern

It was genuinely difficult to pick one of her patterns because they are all so cute (and after finishing this one, my mom has requested all the seasons)

I adore the subtly of the pattern, the slight change of color from the outside of the petals to the middle just to give it that little bit of life. And I've always been a supporter of backstitching and the absolute magic it creates and Durene Jones is an absolute master of it. I decided to sub in beads instead of french knots because the pretties were on sale and matched so well, how could I not?
Stitch SpotRoguexStitches StitchSpot.jpgThis is my stitchy spot (and gaming spot given the switch and Xbox controller). I also have another crafting area that I’m organizing in my basement, but this is my spot.
Topsy TurvyRoguexStitches TopsyTurvy.jpgOh boy did I not have the spoons for this, but I managed it. First color was a challenge, then by the second color I was like “oh, this is getting easier” it was easier because I had switched to my usual stitching method :woman_facepalming:, so a frogging was done. But I managed it and it came out adorable. I gave it to my mom as an early Easter present. Did an on the fly backstitching around the bunny because he was lost in the fabric (not much to choose from with the limited fabric supply right now, so oh well). Pattern
Stash SystemDiscovered organization inspiration:WIP Crate Now this was in one of the blogs someone posted, but I thought this specific idea should be highlighted. One, it’s super cute, and two it’s a good way to sort out WIPs. I have a little cube thing that I just keep stuff in to keep the living room decluttered, but I think I might convert it into something like this. Though, I’d be nervous putting stitches into a crate I paint myself, but it’s customizable to your needs
Revisit a UFORoguexStitches RevisitUFO.jpgSo, my mom and I started these ornaments back in...October? I got up until I needed to stuff my biscornu, and she was having a hard time seeing the edge to put together (we were doing beads every other and she was losing track on that too), so to the side they were put. I figured this was the perfect quest to revisit them and finish them off finally. The purple one is mine and the blue is Mama Rogue’s
Take InventoryTook inventory of their stash:Pattern Trello - So, I decided to look into what patterns I have and make a trello of what I have...which surprisingly I don't have many of  But it's a start and now it'll be easier to continue to add to it
Unconventional CanvasRoguexStitches UnconventionalCanvas.jpgSo we have this splatter guard and I knew that would be perfect for this quest. But I couldn’t use the one we had...because well, we use it. So the new one was ordered (this was the smallest that came in the package), but the holes didn’t line up properly. So I decided to play with some gradients! I thought that the thread would fray with it being metal and all that, but no such thing happened.
Scissor SoireeRoguexStitches ScissorSoiree.jpgEveryone has such beautiful collections and I’m here with these guys. They’re trusty and faithful, so I can’t complain. My go to are my purple pencuts (I have two...don’t know where the second one currently is)
Prepare to DyeRoguexStitches Prepare to Dye.jpgOkay, this was a boatload of fun. I used Rit dye (and didn’t make a mess of my kitchen!!). The fabric came out an absolutely beautiful purple (the blue splotches I think are from when I was mixing together the stuff for the thread), but I have fallen in love with the thread! It still needs to be treated to make sure the color stays but I cannot wait to actually use it. I will most definitely be trying this again.
International StyleTraveled the world and discovered:Merve Yalçın, #Etamin I decided to pick one of the categories that I hadn’t seen much of or any before (I’m a sucker for basically all the Russian designs), so I picked Turkish. Just looking through the hashtag, they seem to be all about flowers. From very stylized to very simple. This stitcher in particular has a ton of flower projects and they’re all so pretty and colorful
Artist Studies: Ink CirclesRoguexStitches Studies InkCircles.jpgThis was so much fun to work on. I love the mirrored nature of their patterns (makes it easier to spot when you mess up, which is nice). The patterns also lend themselves so nicely to turning into a biscornu, which is a big plus in my book. Changed up the original color palette to play with some threadworx I picked up at my LNS Pattern
Blackwork ResearchResearched Blackwork and discovered:Snowflake Christmas Tree Blackwork I have been working on the blackwork SAL (which I am woefully behind on), and I have fallen in love with blackwork. In doing my research for this quest I found this pattern and I love it! Snowflakes are my jam, doing this on a blue fabric in white would be beautiful!
Petite PatternsFound a small pattern to stitch:Here are some cute pixel Alola starters from our very own Sirithre! The Rowlet would be a good size for the upcoming project
